Who We Are
The Acacia Group was founded by three individuals who share a common view of social
responsibility and how that can be combined with cutting edge leadership development.
Their experience of developing projects, building teams, creating change and measuring benefits is coupled with sound theoretical knowledge on human behaviour, communication and problem solving, and the development of corporate cultures. Collectively Penny Lane, Christine Bonney, and Dave Harrhy have over 60 years experience managing and leading in complex, high profile and demanding environments. This experience combined with graduate training in business, leadership and public administration alongside further training in coaching, position them to be key informants and guides to your organization’s leadership development process and corporate social responsibility strategies.
The Acacia tree has over 1300 sub-species and is found in Africa, the Americas, Europe and Australia. It is resilient to harsh climates and drought – providing shelter, fuel and other resources to the people we wish to serve. In many communities it is also a gathering place for conversations. This hardy, resource rich tree that brings people together for dialogue is a rich metaphor for the work of our team.
